What messages you will get

When you enter your mobile number on a restaurant's Echo rewards page to sign in or join its rewards program, we text you a one-time sign-in code. The text names the restaurant, for example: "Example Restaurant: 123456 is your sign-in code. It expires in 10 minutes. Do not share it."

This is the only text message the program sends. We do not text order, waitlist or reservation updates. We do not send marketing texts at this time. If you chose "marketing texts" when joining a rewards program, that choice is stored with the time and place you made it; we would only send marketing texts to people who chose them, under their own opt-out instructions, and not as part of this sign-in program.

How you agree

You agree by typing your mobile number on the restaurant's Echo rewards page (at the restaurant's address/account) and tapping "Text me a code", next to the wording that describes this program. Agreeing is required only to sign in by text, and buying from a restaurant never depends on it.

How often

We send a text only when you ask for a code. For each restaurant there is a limit on codes per number per day (currently five) and a short wait before a new code can be requested. We send one message per code you request.

Cost

Msg & data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge for messages according to your plan.

Opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop. You will get one confirmation and then no more texts from that number. Without codes you cannot sign in by text. To turn texts back on, reply START to the number that texted you; until you do, we cannot send you a code.

We text mobile numbers in the United States and Canada. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your information

We do not share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our text-messaging provider receives your number and the message only to deliver it. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
